Right from when you 1st go to the Premier Inn website the experience of booking and staying at their hotels is a good one. One of the few chains or groups of hotels that have accessible rooms included in their drop down list of rooms once you have put your dates in and asked for availability. There are generally two options available a "wet room" or a "lowered bath". The lowered bath is not very big particularly if you are more than about 5'6, 1.6 metres. We have stayed at PIs in London, Chelmsford, Fort William, Glasgow and a fair few other places. They are all good the room configuration is the same and generally the rooms are either ground floor or very close to the lifts. Even the less expensive "Hub" versions are good. Ingress 4.5/5 Rooms 4/5, Bathrooms 4/5
One accessible room available in the Mews extension out the back of the main hotel. Cobbled street if you do come in that way and a ramp is required to get into the main hotel. The room was quite large with a lift to access it. Smallish shower seat in the bathroom otherwise ok. Ingress to room 4/5 Room 4/5 Bathroom 3/5. Ingress to Hotel & American Bar 3/5, Access to Tables 3/5 Disabled WC 4/5 not the easiest to get to though. As can be seen in the picture a ramp would required to get in the main entrance, doormen are able to let you in a different door, just up the street
